ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: To
be held on Sunday the 28th March 2010 at 1pm
at the Club Rooms. Come and find out what actually is
happening in the Club and vote in the election for
Committee. If you have not paid your subscription you
cannot attend the meeting. Only financial members can
attend and vote.
ENTERTAINMENT: A TOUCH OF IRISH- SATURDAY 20TH
March 2010
Irish
Band, Dancers and Piper.. 7pm to 11pm. Tickets $10.00.
Limited number of tickets, book at the Club. Restaurant
open-bookings advised. It will be a great night.
BLAZE:
Wednesday 24th March. In conjunction with
Waihi Beach Hop.
They were very popular. At this stage it will be
5pm-9pm. Come and have a meal and be entertained. Check
Notices in the Club. Remember there is no
cover charge for this nights entertainment.
HUMOUR:
I’ve reached the age where “happy hour’ is a nap.
The
trouble with bucket seats is that everyone does not have
the same size bucket.
Money
can’t buy happiness-but it is more comfortable crying in
a Cadillac than a Lada
After
60, if you don’t wake up aching from every joint, you
are probably dead.

All our entertainment is on the Website. In fact this
Bulletin will be on the Website as well. If you have
anything that you think should go on the Web Site please
let me know. I will put it on there for you - anything
of interest to our members etc. There is no point in
having a Website if there is nothing on it.
GOLD MINE COUNTRY CLUB:
Every second Sunday of the month – see posters in the
Club. Now please abide by the rules for the Country
Club. They are an asset to this Club. If a member is
coming down to the club just for a drink the Country
Club don’t charge him/her. However if you are coming
down to be entertained by the Country Club and their
Guests you are expected the pay the entry fee.(only
$3.00) One member refused to pay and also invited
himself to have a some afternoon tea. That is not
on.
JOKERS WILD: Will be coming
at you in a new format. See Notices in the Club and the
attachment to this newsletter.
RESTAURANT : We regret to
announce that our Caterer’s Pete and Annie, are
finishing. As from Thursday the 11th March
Stafford and Gail VENN will be the new Caterers. Please
see attachment regarding the new menu.
To Annie and Peter-we all hope all
goes well for you. YOU WILL BE MISSED.
